Wells Carnival
The West-Country tradition continues this year with the annual Carnival arriving in Wells on the 14th November.
Every year Somerset clubs, organisations and individuals come together to put on a spectacular show, creating the largest illuminated processions in the world. Join the thousands of spectators line the streets of Wells to witness the brightly decorated carnival floats, marching bands, dancers and musicians for a truly unique evening.

Wells Festival of Literature 2025
First established in 1992, the Wells Festival of Literature continues to promote the love of books and of reading throughout the community.
The festival takes place in Cedars Hall, a state-of-the-art performance venue situated in the beautiful grounds of Wells Cathedral School.
Wells Food Festival
Join in to celebrate and taste Somerset’s rich and diverse food and drink in the hear of Wells.
Over 200 stalls selling food, drinks, street food and homewares.
English wines to taste and buy by the glass or bottle.
